Linda Pendrill

“Keep learning. The world is changing so the more we keep up with these types of professional courses the better. Also, to look for a mentor. It’s very helpful to anybody. It doesn’t have to be someone within your organization, it can be someone you meet at an industry function or through connections. Sometimes those are better mentors anyway because they can give you outside advice in what to do in your organization and career”

About Linda

Meet Linda, she is the CFO of an Investment Protection Fund Company and CPA by training.

Linda started her career in finance because of her love of Math. She completed her undergraduate degree in math, specialized in finance accounting, and went on to do her CPA designation.

She looks forward to bringing back what she learned from the course and applying the skills and teachings to her line of work. For example, she can apply what she learned from the Risk Management course into her organization’s bond portfolio and be cognizant of the potential calls in their fund.

Watch her student testimonial to see what else she thought about the course, important takeaways, and insights.
