“Network with people that you know because everyone in the finance industry has something you can learn from and I found that the people that you want to talk to love talking about their jobs. I’ve learned the most from bosses and colleagues and from practical experience. You can always be challenged in finance because there’s always something new happening in the industry.”

About Caroline

Meet Caroline, she currently works in Credit Risk and has an MBA in finance.

She didn’t have a background in trading Derivatives and her manager wanted her to have that experience. She found NYIF and it had the best Derivatives class among competitors during her research. The course was the most comprehensive, it involved certificates, so she could show that she had achieved something by attending. NYIF also had a great reputation.

Watch more of her student testimonial to see what else she thought about the Derivatives program, important takeaways, and insights.
