Ensure Smooth Intergenerational Transfer of Wealth and Reduce Intra-Family Disputes

The New York Institute of Finance Family Office Training Program

The NYIF Global Family Office Professional Certificate is designed for family office founders, staff members, and wealth management professionals who want to gain a better understanding of this dynamic yet frequently opaque segment of the global financial community. The Program focuses on core family office competencies including portfolio management, family governance and operations. It also gives founders a better sense of how to set up a family office, and how to best manage it for the long term.

Our one-week intensive program provides practical, immersive learning on global perspectives, and at the same time does not pull family members and professionals away from their daily responsibilities for an extended period. The Program focus on all-round abilities in family business including key knowledge and skill sets needed to run a family office. For founders and those looking at upcoming liquidity event, our program de-mystifies what it means to set up a family office, making the process of creating one that much more efficient. We use lectures, online sessions, case studies, interactions with leaders-guest speakers and peer discussions to give program participants an in-depth and holistic mastery of the core curriculum.

NYIF’s Global Family Office Certification Program will offer the family office community customized versions of our standard class offerings. We realize that the needs of families vary and that one size does not necessarily fit all. In addition, as a global program, we understand that not all regions are identical. We are happy to discuss bespoke training that can either incorporate existing modules or the creation of customized programs. Specialized programs may be especially useful for families looking for bespoke next generation training.
